NSFAS To Conduct a Working Visit to Counterparts in other African Countries

The management of NSFAS has revealed that it’s going to embark on a working visit to other Africana countries. This is to improve service delivery to students.

See the official update below.

To improve service delivery to students, the National Student Financial Aid Scheme devised a plan to conduct working visits to their counterparts in other African countries with similar entities.

Through these working visits, NSFAS seeks to gather information related to the legal framework, strategic plan, governance structure, financing model, resource mobilisation, policies and guidelines, and the Information Communication Technology systems among others.

It is against this background that NSFAS Management and some of the Board Members travelled to The Republic of Kenya on a study tour hosted by the country’s Higher Education Loans Board (HELB).

It is intended that the lessons learnt with respect to good practices will be recommended for consideration and adoption to the NSFAS Board.
